The Staff Excellence Award recognizes an individual who, in their time at º£½ÇÍø, has contributed to the mission and goals of the university and exemplified its values. Their hard work and dedication have positively impacted the university and they are put forth as positive role models to the campus community. The award will be presented annually to one staff member who:

• Demonstrates integrity and respect in all aspects of their position
• Creates and/or fosters a positive productive workplace
• Excels in customer service and teamwork
• Continuously goes above and beyond their standard job duties
• Contributes to the development of university initiatives

Prior to the Staff Excellence Award, The Top Dawg Award was created for GWU to promote excellence and to provide visible recognition of exceptionally consistent and superior performance of GWU Staff.

Criteria for Nominees:  

• The staff member has consistently demonstrated exceptional performance and remarkable proficiency in his/her assigned duties;
• The staff member has demonstrated hospitality and has been active in promoting a pleasant and positive work environment.
• The staff member made a significant contribution towards the achievement and mission of GWU.
