At º£½ÇÍø, our commitment to faith, service, and community is more than a tradition. It is part of who we are and how we live out our mission each day.
From November 16–20, 2026, faculty and staff will come together for the Week of Giving, Service & Prayer, a time to put our faith into action through generosity, compassion, and connection.
Together, we will support our neighbors through the United Way of Cleveland County, dedicate our time and talents to serving others, and lift up our campus and community in prayer.
Whether through a gift, an act of service, or a moment of prayer, each of us has an opportunity to make a meaningful difference.
Together, we can show what it means to love God and serve humanity.
As a º£½ÇÍø family, we do more than teach, learn, and work together. We shape lives, inspire purpose, meet needs, and support one another in countless ways. That same spirit of care extends beyond our campus and into the communities we call home.
During the Week of Giving, Service & Prayer, we invite faculty and staff to put that care into action through the United Way of Cleveland County.
Your generosity helps provide food, shelter, education, health services, and other essential resources to individuals and families across our region.
Our goal is 50% faculty and staff participation in this year’s United Way campaign. Whether you choose a one-time gift or payroll deduction, every contribution makes a difference.
Every gift, regardless of size, reflects our commitment to caring for our neighbors and strengthening the community we share.
At º£½ÇÍø, serving others isn’t just something we do. It’s who we are. Every act of service is an opportunity to live out our faith in meaningful, tangible ways.
During the Week of Giving, Service & Prayer, November 16–20, 2026, we’re partnering with United Way and community organizations across our region to make a difference through volunteer service.
Our goal is 100 combined hours of service. By contributing just two hours each, faculty and staff can help us exceed that goal and extend our impact throughout the community.
You can serve individually or alongside colleagues, on campus or with a local organization. The Office of Christian Life and Service can help identify opportunities, or you may propose a service project of your own.
Every hour of service reflects º£½ÇÍø’s mission and demonstrates the love of Christ through action.
Prayer connects us to God, to one another, and to the purpose behind all we do. It reminds us that we are not alone in our work and that faith provides the foundation for our service and generosity.
During the Week of Giving, Service & Prayer, we invite you to lift up our students, colleagues, community partners, and neighbors in need.
Throughout the week, we’ll share daily 30-second reflections and prayer prompts, offering simple opportunities to pause, reconnect with God, and consider how we can love and serve others.
