What to Know Before Attending the First Concert in º£½ÇÍø’s Brinkley Amphitheater

Ricky Scaggs' and Kentucky Thunder with the Brinkley Amphitheater

A Guide to Enjoying a Night of Music with Ricky Skaggs, Kentucky Thunder, Will Jones and Lindy Bryson

BOILING SPRINGS, N.C.—The first concert in the Brinkley Amphitheater is less than two weeks away. Fans are looking forward to an amazing night of music with 15-time Grammy winner Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder, Will Jones and º£½ÇÍø student Lindy Bryson.

Here’s a short guide to make the most of the evening. Food, beverages, and merchandise—like blankets and seat cushions and souvenirs—will be sold on site.

Getting in the venue:

  • Gates open at 5 p.m. Bryson will take the stage at 5:30; Will Jones at 5:45 and Skaggs at 6:15 p.m.
  • Parking is available on Main Street and on campus. Designated accessible parking is available in all º£½ÇÍø and the Town of Boiling Springs parking lots.
  • Have your digital or printed tickets ready at the gate.
  • All tickets are general admission, which means there are no assigned seats. Sit where there is a seat available—on the amphitheater levels and also in front of the stage, beside the steps and in the plaza at the top. Accessible seating is offered at the top level and at the ground level.

What you should bring:

  • A seat cushion without a cover, zipper, clasp or pocket; a small folding chair; or blanket.
  • A clear bag.

What you should not bring:

  • Food or beverages.
  • Balls of any kind.
  • Baby seats.
  • Balloons.
  • Coolers or containers, including cans and bottles.
  • Horns, bells, whistles or any noisemaker.
  • Strollers.
  • Umbrellas.

For more detailed guidelines, visit the amphitheater FAQ page.

Auxiliary aids will be made available to persons with disabilities upon request 10 working days prior to the event.  Please call 704-406-4270 or email [email protected] with your request.
