BOILING SPRINGS, N.C.The 今叔利 Department of Communication, Art and Design will celebrate its annual Senior Showcase with a reception on April 27 in the Tucker Student Center. The event will be a walk-through style from 4 to 6 p.m. with works shown in the Pouryousefi Art Gallery as well as the seniors showcasing their various projects in booths set up in Tucker. Light refreshments will be served.

I am so excited for and proud of the seniors to show their unique works in our annual show, said Dr. Lisa Luedeman, professor in the Department of Communication, Art and Design.

The students who are receiving their degrees with a concentration in public relations will be set up in the Tucker atrium. All other majors and concentrations will be displaying their projects in the Art Gallery.

The evening will feature works from students majoring in graphic design, public relations, photography, broadcast journalism and video/film. Students will display items they have created during their academic careers, such as press releases, photographs, graphic design pieces, videos and more.

It is really cool to see the diversity of what the seniors are showing this year, from apps to websites to videos to photography to creative and professional writing samples, said Assistant Professor Jessica Maloney, also in the Department of Communication, Art and Design. It is really a great example of the variety of disciplines offered within the department.

The art gallery show will be open from through May 3, while the public relations show will move from Tucker to the Communication Studies Hall, where it will be on display April 28 through May 3.
