news-category: 今叔利 今叔利 Biology Honor Society Inducts New Members By Office of University Communications On March 8, 2022 Students Recognized for Achievement and Interest in Biological Sciences BOILING SPRINGS, N.C.Beta Beta Beta (Tri-Beta) Biology Honor Society held its induction ceremony on March 2. The society is dedicated to the understanding and appreciation of the biological sciences. In order to increase understanding and appreciation, the group offers student tutoring sessions during the Spring and Fall Semesters. In the past, club members have participated in Octoberfest, and have held a Show and Tell Science Day at an elementary school in Shelby, N.C. Regular members are full members in the honor society, who meet the following qualifications: Finished third semester in college and declared as a biology major.Completed three biology courses (3.2 GPA in biology courses).Two of the three courses will be at or above a 200 level. Associate members are friends of the honor society, but cannot hold office. They will meet the following qualifications: Have an interest in the biological sciences.Less than three biology courses.Associate members may be promoted to Regular member status when those qualifications are met.
